“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen is one of my favorite songs of all time, and it was such a blast covering it with Matt Payne for The Glowing Stars. We played this song since our first show with Anamanaguchi and Peelander-Z at the DNA Lounge on April 7, 2011, and we’re playing it one last time at our next show at the Japantown Peace Plaza in San Francisco on September 4.

Not sure what song we’ll cover next, but I’ll sure miss playing this one! Look out for a free mp3 download of our cover around September 4!

It takes a lot of effort for us to put together a good cover, and we enjoyed sharing our cover of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” on our Quest Coast tour (and recording it for our special edition release of Anything Past That).

I miss this. Here’s a video of the song we opened with at the first PulsewaveSF at DNA Lounge on July 7, 2011. We got to have a really awesome opening video by AJAPOPFILMS play before we got on stage. It highlighted the shows of our Quest Coast Tour. After the video played, we started our set with “Epilogue.”
